FAQ
Straight answers.
How it's priced, who owns what, how customers pay, and how it handles VAT, POPIA and load-shedding.
Pricing and ownership
Why a one-off build instead of a monthly app?
Two ways to run it. Own it outright with a one-off build plus a support plan, or start on a monthly plan with little upfront where we host and run it. Either way there is no per-user charge and no cut of your revenue. We show the payback on your own numbers, as a range, before you commit.
Isn't this just another SaaS or ERP I'll be locked into?
No, and it works differently from the van-sales software you have seen. Those put a rep on the road with an app you license per head. With Wasrio your customers send the order on WhatsApp, and the invoicing, follow-up and routing run themselves. No reps to license, no per-seat fee.
What happens to my data? Can I get locked out?
Your data is yours on both plans, and you can export it whenever you want. On the owned build it sits on infrastructure you control. On the monthly plan we host it for you, but it stays your data, portable on request.
Fit and day-to-day
Who are you, and why should I trust this?
Wasrio was built by someone who spent 15+ years running revenue operations in global enterprise sales, then built the system to run a real distribution business end to end. Not a developer who shipped an app and moved on. The about page has the full picture.
Can it really read a messy WhatsApp order?
Yes. Your customers message "the usual" or "3 drums of the degreaser", in whatever language they actually use, and Wasrio turns it into a priced order. And the money is always exact and rule-based, never a guess.
I don't have time to learn new software.
Your customers keep ordering on the same WhatsApp number, exactly as they do now. On your side, you confirm an order in a glance and read one summary a day. When something looks wrong, you tell us in your own words and it gets fixed.
Is this for me?
If your customers order on WhatsApp, you deliver on set days by area, and you carry customer balances, yes. If your customers will not use WhatsApp, or you run same-day on-demand delivery, or you carry many hundreds of SKUs with complex pricing, it is not the right fit. We will tell you if it is not.

How do my customers pay? Can they pay through Wasrio?
They pay the way they already do, by EFT or cash. Wasrio gives every customer a permanent payment reference. When they send proof of payment on WhatsApp, you enter the amount, Wasrio suggests which invoices it settles, and the balance clears once you confirm. It tracks and chases what you are owed; it does not take the payment itself.
Does it handle VAT?
Yes. Every invoice is a proper VAT invoice: your VAT number, VAT at 15% as its own line, and a clean total your customers and your accountant can work with.
My problem is getting paid, not taking orders.
That is exactly the lead. Wasrio tracks every account balance and how far it has aged, shows what is overdue, and runs the follow-up automatically so you are not the one chasing.
Does it keep working during load-shedding?
Yes. Wasrio runs in the cloud, not on a machine in your office, so the follow-up and your records keep going even when your power is off. When you are back online, everything is where you left it.
What about my customers and POPIA?
Your data sits on infrastructure you control and is used only to run your business. Wasrio is built to respect POPIA, and nothing is shared or sold.
